Dr. Balaram Kundu is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. His research interests fall mainly in the field of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, and solar energy with current research focusing on biological heat transfer. Dr. Kundu completed his PhD at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2000. Prior to that he post graduated in Thermal Engineering at Bengal Engineering College (Deemed University), Shibpur, Howrah, India in 1995. He studied at Regional Engineering College Durgapur, where he completed a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. His teaching experience starts from April 1998 when he joined Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, West Bengal, India as a Lecturer. After that, he had been selected as a Lecturer at Kolyani Government Engineering College, Bengal Engineering College (Deemed University), and Jadavpur University. Then he joined Jadavpur University as a Senior Lecturer on January 20, 2003. He also worked as a Research Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, for three years. So far more than 60 papers have been published in reputed international journals in which 13 papers published with sole authorship and 40 papers published with first authorship. He is now the member of the editorial board of four international journals and member of the reviewer board of thirty five international journals. He has visited several times in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Netherland, etc. for the research work purpose. Several PG and PhD students have been guided under his sole supervision. He has been awarded the Institutional Medal for 1997-1998 for the best paper published in the Journal of the Institution of Engineers (India). His biography has been published in Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 2001.

Somchai Wongwises is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangmod, Thailand. He received his Doktor Ingenieur (Dr.-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hannover, Germany, in 1994. His research interests include Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Flow, Heat Transfer Enhancement, and Thermal System Design. Professor Wongwises is the head of the Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Engineering and Multiphase Flow Research Laboratory (FUTURE).

Tzvetelin Gueorguiev, PhD teaches at the University of Ruse 'Angel Kanchev' since 2003. He teaches a number of disciplines in the domain of quality management such as Quality control, Quality management systems (QMS), Auditing QMS, Statistical techniques applied to QMS, Professional English, etc. He has also delivered lectures at universities in France, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Romania and Kosovo. Mr. Gueorguiev is in charge of the Master degree programme in 'Quality Management'. He is a member of the Union of quality specialists in Bulgaria, Club 9000, The American Society for Quality (ASQ), and other professional and scientific organizations. In 2014 he has delivered a keynote speech at the ENTECH '14 / Energy Technologies Conference in Istanbul, Turkey.
